Rockstar Games’ second official trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI has exploded online, reaching 85 million views in just 40 hours – Officially the fastest to 1M views too and breaking all sorts of records on the way. At the time of this post, the video is still currently the #1 trending video on YouTube, highlighting the insane anticipation for the game’s 2026 release.
The trailer showcases gameplay captured on PlayStation 5 and offers a closer look at the game’s protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos. Set in Leonida — Rockstar’s fictional take on modern-day Florida — GTA VI will explore a sprawling open world inspired by Miami, the Everglades, and the Keys.
GTA VI is scheduled to launch on May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. A PC version has not yet been confirmed. (But we know it will come to PC… surely!)
